Chocolate lovers 'are more depressive', say experts People who regularly eat chocolate are more depressive, experts have found. Research in Archives of Internal Medicine shows those who eat at least a bar every week are more glum than those who only eat chocolate now and again. Many believe chocolate has the power to lift mood, and the US team say this may be true, although scientific proof for this is lacking. But they say they cannot rule out that chocolate may be a cause rather than the cure for being d... Read More

Happiness cannot be traveled to, owned, earned, worn or consumed. Happiness is the spiritual experience of living every minute with love, grace, and gratitude. Denis Waitley It is necessary, then, to cultivate the habit of being grateful for every good thing that comes to you, and to give thanks continuously. And because all things have contributed to your advancement, you should include all things in your gratitude. Wallace D. Wattles I am grateful for what I am and have. My thanksgiving is perpetual... REJECTION OF FOOD FROM CALIPH Haroon once sent with his servant a tray full of some delicious dishes to Bahlool. When they were delivered, Bahlool diverted the food to a dog sitting nearby. On seeing this, the servant protested saying that this was a disrespect to the Caliph and he would report to him. Bahlool retorted by asking the servant to keep quiet lest the dog also refused to eat the food if it came to know that the food was from the Caliph. His refusal to eat the food from the Caliph demonstrated his rej... Read More

My heart is so small it's almost invisible. How can You place such big sorrows in it? "Look," He answered, "your eyes are even smaller, yet they behold the world." Jalal ad-Din Rumi,
April 24, 2012 at 6:55amReally sad! An excellent quote is ruined. That is how we have been disgracing this world... Nobody talk about the essence of this excellent quote but foolish.
What a shame disgraceful…

At the beginning I was mistaken in four respects. I concerned myself to remember God, to know Him, to love Him and to seek Him. When I had come to the end I saw that He had remembered me before I remembered Him, that His knowledge of me had preceded my knowledge of Him, that His love towards me had existed before my love to Him and He had sought me before I sought Him.. THIS WAS THE QUESTION IN THE LETTER Do Good People go to Hell! As salam alaykum! Hi Brother Green! I've got a question from a non-muslim who is interested in Islam. Can you please answer his question. If you could please spare a few minutes, jazakallah khair. His mail to me as follows: Regarding Islam and the day of judgement and the afterlife, I read with interest in the "Brief Illustrated Guide to Understanding Islam" pages 50 & 51 that in short, anyone not a Muslim or not believing that there is no true... April 22, 2012 at 3:09pmIf anyone associates partner with Almighty Allah is doing Shirk. Many Hindus do believe in Almighty Allah/Almighty God. Mudster your ignorance is pouring out from your every comment. You should read the oldest bible found in arabic language so that your ignorance/foolishness can get some limitations. You need some medical help for your stupid arguments.April 21, 2012 at 2:55amMudster, the Hindus are mushrikeen, a mushrik is not just anyone who associates partners with Allah, a mushrik is also anyone who worships anything other than Allah. You see, to say that a Hindu isn't a mushrik is basically saying that in the Hindu's universe, there is no Allah, and therefore, he/she is not associating partners with Him, Allah. The fact of the matter is, that whether you acknowledge Allah's presence or not, He is still there. Therefore, if someone worships the moon and the sun, but denies Allah, he/she is still associating partners with Allah, because Allah is still there regardless of acknowledgement or no acknowledgement. As far as the Christians go, there are actually a very small number of Christians, even today who do not believe that Jesus was the son of Allah, nor do they believe in a holy spirit as being a representation of Allah. Mudster, if you think the Quran got Christianity wrong, then perhaps you have an incorrect understanding of Christianity. The Catholics for ages and even now have raised Mary, the mother of Jesus above the level of an ordinary human being, and mention her name in prayers, and pray to her, "Mother Mary full of grace...." If that's not praying to her, what is? As far as Christians go, let me tell you a funny (I think its funny anyway) story: I was in an intro to Asian religions class, and we were obviously talking about religion. This was my freshman year in college, and somehow Christianity came up, and I raised my hand and asked, "who is God for the Christians, Jesus or the Father?" Then one guy raised his hand and said, "the Father is God, and Jesus is just the son." Then another person raised his hand, "Shut up! You don't know what you're talking about, Jesus is God!" So, clearly, even Christians themselves can't decide as to Jesus' role in the hierarchy of Christianity. Mudster, maybe you should get to know some more Christians.
As for whether or not there is a heaven or a hell...that's something you, nor anyone else on earth will ever be able to prove. The only way we can find out the truth is to die, that's it pure and simple. YOU believe that there's no heaven or hell, I believe that there definitely is one. We can scream at each other until we're blue in the face, but it won't accomplish anything. Nothing you can say will persuade me otherwise, and vice versa.
SSApril 20, 2012 at 8:01amYour thinking is clearly wrong. You probably haven't read your own damn quran. Christians are the ones who come under the category of mushrikeen because they share allah with holy spirit and jesus.
Hindus don't believe in Allah at all, so they don't come under the category of shirk..
By the way quran got christianity completely wrong, as quran does think christians share allah with jesus and marrium, and no christian ever on this earth believed in such kind of trinity.

Some men are natural conversationalists. Happily for the rest of us, the skills can be easily learnt. If you are not ready the read the full journal then please atleast have a look on points below. 1) Talk at the right time If you're going to have a conversation, make sure you can spare it the time and attention it deserves. A half-hearted conversation is often worse than no conversation at all. "Be aware of whether it's the right time and place for the particular conversation you want to have," says Andrew Bai... What Is Tasawwuf Tasawwuf is a branch of Islamic knowledge which focuses on the spiritual development of the Muslim. Allah sent His final messenger, Prophet Muhammad , as a source of knowledge for the entire ummah. He was the fountain of Quran, Hadith, tafsir, rhetoric, fiqh, and so on. After the Prophet, the scholars of this ummah carried and propagated each of these branches of knowledge. Because no one person can attain the perfection of the Prophet , who single handedly assumed all of these roles, vario... Read More

This is a sensitive issue but I really want to discuss. These days i am feeling a very alarming shift in our societies and the shift is the men are not willing to marry soon(they prefer to marry in earlier 30’s or mid 30’s) then i explore the whole scenarios i found some reason. 1) I cannot marry because i have my sisters to get married or it’s not my number. 2) I cannot marry because i feel i need to get some more education 3) I cannot marry because i have no job security, house, bank balance and car. 4...
