Dhoop mein Sawan

Dhoop mein sawan is an exclusive production of Mahreen Jabbar. Drama presents the story of the families of two sisters, Marriam and Mahmooda (Played by Samina Ahmed and Sajida Syed) trying to get their kids married. Marriam has two sons,the elder Humayun Saeed lives in America and younger is Asim (Yasir Nawaz), who madly fall in love with his first cousin Saba (Nadia Jamil).Saba doesn't have the same feeling for him. Batool (Huma nawab), who is the colleague of Asim in his production house, loves him.



Saba is an independent and confident working woman but she lacks will to take stand on the issue of her marriage to Asim. I n this situation both families arranges the engagement without considering Saba's clear lack of interest.



Then a tragic twist comes and creates a new situation and the relationship of two sisters enters in a negative phase. Humayun comes back from America and some new situation develop which makes everyone to reconsider their decisions.



Mhareen Jabbar's direction received a lot of praise for her work. The great efforts of her crew and cast can be easily seen on the screen. Yasir gives a great performance. Humayun's role is very strong and he did excellent job in it. Nadia Jamil appears in her natural style and shows great potential. Samina Ahmed is perfectly fit in her role. Huma Nawab always performs impressively. Thanks Mahreen for such a captivating production.
