Assalaam alaikum,
There will be a very important seminar on moonsighting this coming weekend. Especially covered will be discussion and information regarding ISNA's new decision to implement moon sighting by scientific calculation. It will be conducted by Sh. Mokhtar Maghraoui and guest presenter Dr. Mohibullah Durrani, consultant to the Fiqh Council of North America.
It is important for all of us, especially youth, to attend and learn the facts and viewpoints as this is something that affects our communities and the future of every Ramadan and every Eid in North America.

I am moving to Albany to attend law school, so I kind of needed advice. I am debating between living in the suburbs (I'll have a car) or living in downtown. I have no idea of the area and I will not be able to come down anytime soon. If any of you guys can help a brother out, I'll appreciate it. Thanks.
PS. Was also looking for a roommate if anyone has any clue where I can find one.
