has added a new journalI came home and said salaam to what turned out to be an empty home. Realizing this, I quickly changed into my pajamas and put my hair up in pig tails. I went into the kitchen and grabbed all sorts of junk food I could find and mixed them all in a bowl. Got a big glass of juice and took it all to the sofa where I ate palm full of food at a time as I watched the encore presentation of Ellen. Oh that Ellen. She cracks me up.
Hours later I heard keys jingling on the door. No time to put everything away. As soon as the door opened, I threw myself on the sofa and closed my eyes. My mom came over to see the mess of popcorn and chips and cookie crumbs on the floor. She saw that i was "sleeping" and so sat by me.. waiting for me to "wake up" as she talked in high volume to my sibling. A minute later, i "woke up". To my surprise, my mom doesnt seem upset.
She went & changed too and we watched tv all night long.. ordered chinese food and even put on a tape of indian songs briefly.
What a great evening that was. =)

has added a new journalVan Gogh is the man! I love this guy...there is something stunning about his work that has turned me into a huge fan. When I first saw the Starry nights (yes there are two) at the art museam in Chicago, I stood across the room staring so long that my eyes started to water. If my friend hadn't elbowed me (rather painfully) I don't know how long I would have stood there! Anyways....does anyone else have a Van Gogh, artsy story? I like his cafe pic, although it isn't really a favorite, it is a good choice for this village!
I am not hte artsy fartsy kind of guy, but I am familiar with some of his works. However, I like Dali's pieces. They are wacked out. They are actually showing his stuff in Philly right now for like the whole spring. I'd like to go to it, but my sisters told me it gets packed on the weekends.

Wow this is awesome more and more people are joiningWell about me I?m Ali, I live in Montreal Canada I?m currently working in the Information technology field as a programmer analysts and Consultant to various clients.
I join naseeb to make more Muslims friends and basically just looking to increase my knowledge on Islam and help others and I guess that?s about it for now.
