Ok, so we have ABCD for American Born Confused Desi's and FOB for fresh of the boat desi's.
What about guys and girls that came here long time ago either with family or in pursuit of higher education and are no longer FOBs yet also cannot be classified as ABCD's.
Since this group of fine individuals is growing rapidly, I thought of creating an acronym so that "we" would have our own representation. That?s when I came up with DBA or Desiland Born Americans. I want to make this term popular so who ever reads this, please spread the word.

this line of thinking initially sounds funny, however allows a continuation of further superlatives e.g. what if certain people are beyond stale and turn in fungii ... would they be called Fungii off the Boat, yikes, it's FOB's all over again !October 18, 2005 at 1:19am
