I would like to take this opportunity to invite you to the events taking place this Hall of Fame weekend. Both our Men's and Women's
Basketball teams are having historic seasons. We would like for you to be a part of that history.
Our men's program led by Coach Dave Leitao will host Conference USA rival Cincinnati at 2:30 PM Saturday afternoon. You may already be aware of the campaign taking place called Operation 5,000 which is an effort by the Blue Crew and various student groups to set a new student attendance record at the Allstate Arena. ABC will be carrying this game to a national audience as our men's program seeks to build on its most successful start since the 1986-87 season.
Most recently against Marquette, our student section helped us achieve an intimidating home court advantage and we hope to continue the tradition this weekend. In addition, this is a great opportunity to build ommunity among our students and the university after a tough week of midterms. Whether you can make all the games or just one this weekend, your presence will be greatly appreciated by our student-athletes, coaches and staff.
This weekend, our women and Coach Doug Bruno will host Conference USA powers Houston on Friday at 7 pm and TCU on Sunday at 2 pm with TCU being broadcast nationally on ESPN2. It would be great to see you this
weekend supporting the women before a national audience. As always, our
women will be playing on campus in Lincoln Park at the Athletic Center.
To obtain your free student tickets and to reserve your free bus ride, simply go to campusconnect.depaul.edu. If
you should encounter any problems or just have questions, please do not
hesitate to call our ticket office at 773-325-7526 and our staff would be happy to answer your questions. We hope to see you all this weekend!!
