I attended South Beach Bhangra and finally understand what that tree structure is all about. Sort of.

Why do people keep surviving the death matches?

I thought a death match implies that there can only be one match. How is it that people survived to hold a second death match?

Do Juts still believe in reincarnation?

Or did you all do the standard Punjabi thing - call it a death match and then just get together and eat kababs, drink chai, and munch gulab jaman? And maybe play a little badminton, and listen to "Atif" while doing funky head motions.

At least that's the likely behavior of most of the Juts I know (read: Haque sisters.)

The Arrain's were probably off in the corner admiring the vegetables... watching them grow... ok maybe eating a few gulab jaman as well...

I don't think Punjabis are so tough. Not unless you try to take away one of their kababs, or eat some of their fudge. (Or share a hot fudge sundae with one.)

I don't understand. I'm not Punjabi and this is all very confusing for me.

no conversions of arains necessary. we have descended from the companions of Mohmd Bin Qasim and are proud to carry that chip on our shoulders. Arain sounds a lot cooler than jatt too..for one a jatt would have 12 o clock on his face erm watch 24/7 :d.

representin the Arains out there...this is Fahad signin off

Maulajatt converted all Arains by 'peaceful' mode of persuation as illustrated by the village icon.

...in Cape Town, South Africa, you're first words must be:

"Ve dholia, la zara dhol tay dhaga, tay dusiya duniya noo kivay payda, Bhangra!!!"

No. I'm an "in the closet" fan. Outwardly hate it and secretly love it (well just fraps and a few choice desserts). Do I need to seek help for this malady? I fell 'pangs' upon 'pangs' of guilt over my Starbucks hypocrisy.
