has added a new journalI just wanted to take some time to welcome everyone to the village.. we have had a bunch of people join during the last few weeks.. just curious as to what everyone's connection to Jeff is? Why are you a fan? What do you enjoy about his music? Etc..

I was introduced to Jeff's music by my brother. When Grace was released, I was 14, and my brother played his music nonstop. I was hooked by his voice, his lyrics, just his sound. I've worn out my original copy of Grace but keep it for sentimental reasons :) He is even on my cell phone- I found a ringtone that has the bridge from "Last Goodbye". His music has been a backdrop for events in my life: moving, graduation, boyfriends, break ups, college etc. I have yet to hear another artist that sounds remotely like Jeff, and it probably wont happen. My only regret is not getting that chance to see him perform live. In his music it like you can hear what was going on inside his soul. Thats what I love most about Jeff. I have and forever will be a hardcore Buckley fan.
