Maybe all the answers we seek to find
Are already in front of us but were just too blind
But how much of ourselves are we going to leave behind
When we find out we live in a reality so flawed in design

As children we once had this gleam in our eyes
But most of us have already lost it because our dreams were denied
The innocence we once had as a child is slowly being replaced
Contaminated by evil from living in such a terrible place

As our innocence is slowly being taken
We begin to engage in more and more acts that were once forsaken
With each action were moving further and further away from our humanity
A path that seems to be leading us to these acts of insanity

To find justification for these acts we create an illusion
An alternate reality where we don?t lose in
Some of us are so lost in our own disguise
That we fail to see through others and get caught up in their lies

Most of us are living in a world that isn?t even real
We must open our eyes to find the truth that is hidden and sealed
And maybe we?ll get all the answers we seek to find
Those answers that will finally gives us peace of mind
