10 must know phrases in IRAN


Well I must admit, I had a rough time in Mashad cuz i couldnt communicate. And 'bebakhsi' doesnt take you too far especially when you get stepped on your toes. So plz 'edumacate' me atleast 10 important pharases that can help a non iranian get by.

i bargain when shopping by using my fingers, so if i want to purchase 3 yards of fabric, i show em 3 fingers, 3 1/2 yards i have to cut one finger in half, 3 1/4, gotta cut it in 4, avoid yaar. iran is sucha hassle.

Its not that hard. All you have to do is nod your head and grin and "Say qabool baashay', 'Bebakhsi' and 'Kaili Mamnun'. The rest goes.
