I read an article not too long ago about the negative effects of inbreeding among Saudis. One professor mentioned that he could tell where his students were from based upon symptoms they exhibited during his classes. For example many of his students couldnt stay awake due to severe anemia. There were alot of other important statistics. %40 of the Saudi population suffers from some form of bloodborn illness such as anemia. 1 in 10 children is stillborn. This is a result of centuries of inbreeding. Vitaligo and Lupus are also rampant in the population. The government says that they are taking the necessary steps to promote genetic diversity (within the Saudi population of course). The problem is, that why would you promote the crossbreeding amongst two or more genetically degraded populations? Outside experts indicate that it may be too late. Does anyone else see the detriments to the Muslim community as a whole? When the average non-muslim thinks of Muslims they think of Saudis. I.E. the Saudis have become somewhat the face of Islam around the world. What they see are people who are genetically unfit for war or progress and they laugh. I think they should invest some of their oil billions in a gene splicer and genetic material.
