  • Have you ever heard a song and were dying to catch the name or at least the artist to later look up but had no luck??? I hate when that happens but never the less with the internet I am able to FIND any song with a quick tap of a few lyrics I can locate anything. I swear I am a nut when it comes to music - I will continue to search until I find the mix of the song I am looking for. I remember about 5 years ago - a friend of my sisters was visiting from out of town and she needed a place to say. While staying sh... Read More

  • you would think that since the lakers are not anywhere near the playoffs this year, we would be spared from hearing of their miseries. However, in all the playoff promos run by ABC, ESPN, & TNT, why are we seeing Robert Horry making a 3-pointer against the Kings? Derek Fisher running like an A$$ hole right after he made some shot.. Kobe Bryant making a dumb jumpshot. WHO CARES!!!!!!! finally the two big markets NY & LA are not in the Playoffs. is this the greatest thing ever to happen to the NBA :P

  • A Quick Reaction Noam Chomsky CounterPunch, September 12, 2001 The September 11 attacks were major atrocities. In terms of number of victims they do not reach the level of many others, for example, Clinton's bombing of the Sudan with no credible pretext, destroying half its pharmaceutical supplies and probably killing tens of thousands of people (no one knows, because the US blocked an inquiry at the UN and no one cares to pursue it). Not to speak of much worse cases, which easily come to mind. But that t... Read More

  • The Disconnect in US Democracy Noam Chomsky Khaleej Times, October 29, 2004 Americans may be encouraged to vote, but not to participate more meaningfully in the political arena. Essentially the election is a method of marginalising the population. A huge propaganda campaign is mounted to get people to focus on these personalised quadrennial extravaganzas and to think, "Thatâ??s politics." But it isnâ??t. Itâ??s only a small part of politics. The population has been carefully e... Read More

  • What's your opinion? Granted the dealer rips you off and even lies about any service performed however they are suppose to stand by their brand name. On the other hand, the establishment down the street could probably do the same work, with much better deals. Is there something to be said for the dillusional piece of mind the dealer is suppose to give you?
