As all of us Big B fans are aware, he was hospitalized a few days ago. He was suffering from abdominal pains leading to an infection in his intestines (I believe). Well thank ALLAH he is doing better :). I'm glad the legend is doing better and I hope he has a speedy recovery. I think we all got a scare when we heard this.

I dont know if anyone reads this village, but Shabana won the world open today, to be crowned the world champion for the second time in three years. Amr is easily the most gifted of shot makers playing right now, and is a great guy to boot. I wish him all the more success in the future. As a follow muslim he has done us proud, it couldn't have been a better player. Hopefully some of the younger pakistani players will be encouraged by Shabaneese's victory and follow suit!

I currently live in an awesome 2BR apartment near Coolidge Corner, but am thinking about moving home to save money for awhile. Are there any girls out there looking for an apartment as of January 1? The apartment is beautiful and furnished, the bedroom is massive, i have a separate namaz room of my own off of my bedroom that can be used in many ways, my roommate rocks, and it's a great deal. People say that higher education is correlated with liberal beliefs. Based on my observation that seems to be true in a lot of cases. Most interesting to me though is that it seems Muslim docs, a group of people with high levels of further education, seem to be more liberal than other professionals. I think being liberal is good in a lot of ways. Living in this society it is important to be open minded and tolerant.
