all these laws applied to the mouse, i never knew any of these laws in the lab, so they are really careful in not make that mouse live in pain. but come on, how will they know if this medicine will not hurt the patient? at least the mouse has to go thru several suffer right?. you are absulotly right about how much of food (not fresh) is been thrown away, i myself work for one of those places where they throw too many food away. if those food can be just used to feed all these hunger, it will solve many problems.

If you don't believe me, go behind your local supermarket, and look in the dumpsters, the food in their could probably feed a village.

Sorry NewCairo, its more than possible to feed all these hungry people, do you know how much of a surplus this country produces in agriculture goods, so much that the farmers are losing....in terms of, they make more than they sell, so many farmers stopped farming. There simply isn't any profit for them to produce, thats the problem in most things, unfortunately. In addition, have you ever gone to a supermarket and they told you, sorry we don't have any food today....there are all these aisles of food last time i checked, food which many overweight people in this country consume.

I am not saying turn a blind eye to animals, but lets not forget our human equals, should we not as humans expect better if not same treatment as those animals in a lab?

For example, if a person is working with a mouse, he or she has to fill out specific protocol on how he/she will treat the mice EXACTLY (before any of this can happen they must be certified too), in addition to this, when the mouse is no longer needed for the experiment, it simply isn't terminated, there is a proper humane procedure followed, and if anyone is seen treating a mouse in any way which inhuman they can be fired from the position of dealing with mice. Furthermore, if a mouse dies with no real explaination (basically when it wasn't meant to), the person responsible for this mouse is going to be a whole lot of trouble. Finally, in some cases, before even seeing the mouse, one must shower and wear clothes given to them so they won't infect a mouse.....when you go to the hospital and see a patient, they never ask you to shower before you see him/her, you go right in, and then if you want to go to the 8th floor and see another patient, and go to the 2nd floor and see another patient, all this time passing GOd knows what between them you can....but with mice, each time (again depending on the case/where, not all labs are like this), you must shower each time you go into a different room when dealing with mice as to not infect any....now when a kid in shady area of your town/city/whatever, gets infected with some disease or is killed with no real explaination other than a bullet came through their building thats enough said.

thanks for the correction yah the cat was trapped and not being feed until death therefor the woman went to hell. I understand where you are coming from, and i don't know the solution for that cause. but i know it's impossible to feed all these hungry people everyday.

animals suffer just as much as humans do...but people see past it...when animals are in danger or are suffering...haram all of khilit Rubina...deserve respect...and im not saying that humans dont suffer...they do...but we cant be blind and avoid the animals

i don't know if there is animal rights, but also there are poor people too, so it's good if there is human rights before the animal ones. i realize that every time i want to feed those cats and dogs i face with rejection from my cozines, they tell me the more you feed them, they will come infront of your house and block the way out. (make no sense right? ) . so i tried to feed those cats and dogs, for each living creature, there is 'hasanat' right?
