A MAN

"As if truth could be murdered without the consent, without the cowardice of the people. As if those who accept kings on thrones were not people. As if those who bow before the tyrants were not people. To say that the people is always innocent, always a victim is a lie and an insult to the dignity of every man, every woman. Who is the people? I am the people! It's the few who disobey and say No. The rest are all herd."
(A Man, Oriana Fallaci).

The unsuccessful Greek rebel turned into a hero by Fallaci's own passion.

But for some strange reason, i love the crazy romantics- those ready to defy all odds for a certain cause.

by the way Fallaci described Panagoulis as Don Quixote and herself as Sancho Panza

Yes! read don quixote a long time back.

Yes it's a good read. Don't miss it! It's about the political struggle of Alaxander panagoulis. But written with a lot of ferver and passion as fallaci loved him.
