A Match from Africa Cup Of Nations 2006


just watched this amazing match between Tunisia and Nigeria. What a match! The game ended with penalty goals 6-5 making Nigeria the winner.

Africa?s best goalkeeper last year, Tunisian Ali Boumnijel (39), wasn?t lucky enough to help his country win this time! However, him and the Nigerian goal keeper, Vincent Enyeama , were able to put on a good show!

Ali Boumnijel managed an outstanding penalty game especially when he stepped into a player?s shoes to score against Nigerian goalkeeper Vincent Enyeama.

the referee tried to give the title to Egypt but fortunately Ahmed Hassan missed his spot kick in extra time

JustOne--Yeah, but the way he was scoring for Chelsea early season, I thought he'd be a good pick. nothing to do with his good looks. so what qualifying rules did they change? I think that the powerhouses (except Tunisia) just got beat and so we had a few surprises.

alex99....drogba wouldn't have made it to my fantasy team...but, generally all soccer players are hawt, including him.

t3mah, it's coz they changed the qualifying rules.

honestly i think that was unsmart of FIFA...they shouldn't have done that. because it's going to make the game less interesting.

none of the african teams qualified for wc have really proven themselves at a world cup yet, so their best chances will be in South Africa 2010. would be nice to see one them make a good run in Germany though. Does anyone really like Didier Drogba except me? even if he's really messed up my fantasy team by not scoring goals in the Champions League

Well... Egypt wins most of the time in Arfican Cup so I would say, I still want them to win but I would also want to see if other teams get the chance to win so they might do better in the world cup while presenting Africa, Hint, Arabica :)
