Wcs while you work on the theory think about this:

the moon and stars swim together in a magnetic-like medium. The sea, somehow, relates to this medium and is affected by it. Hint "tsunami"

okkk caarabguy...i am horrible at physics, i am googling the earth and the moon and the whole high and low tides thing...i am working on the theory..this should be good LOL....for now i think: the moon and the stars make the ocean sparkly so we can enjoy its beauty at night :) i know i know very deep

i guess this means all of astronomy is suddenly wrong? you know, it was based on planetary alignments and all that...

and that would explain why my horoscope seems off by about 2 days and 2 and a half hours every time.

Westcoastsmile, good choice of names! lol! i would totally support it! although i must admit "sura" sounds better for a planet's name..it just has this ring for something in space! really!!!!

i love stars and the moon (mostly)! i'm always amazed by the moon! when i see it i always talk to it! (don't laugh, and don't think i'm silly or stupid, ok?!!) i say: subhana allathi khalakaka wa khalakani wa kaddaraka manazila hatta 3odta kal 3orjoun il kadeem"...especially when it's a full moon!

they also say, but that's only a cultural saying, that if you spot the moon with a star next to it, only one star, you'd be lucky...and you should make a wish! do you think you've ever seen that?! :)

i love reading about new planets...it shows how narrow minded we are to think that our world is exactly as we perceive it...that our logic is unchallengeable (is that even a word?) and absolute in the way we define it.... that something only exists if we "discover" it, touch it or quantify it...that's why allah tells us that only true thinkers are the ones who can truly grasp the meaning of religion and God....i believe (here comes another one of my theories) that one day we are going to be very surprised by what we "discover" and some will be very sorry that they didn't believe it allah and islam earlier than they did...this is just one of the discoveries....i have some more theories about space, planets and galaxies etc..lol

on a happier note: i love star gazing :) does anyone do this: walk around with your head up at night? it looks so silly but i love it:)

well, i wonder if they'll discover more planets in the future. i hear textbooks need to be updated so that we won't be teaching our kids wrong info!!! :)
