How Abhishek dumped Dipannita

While Abhishek Bachchan might be basking under the glory of newfound love with Aishwarya Rai, his former girlfriend, Dipannita Sharma, is yet to come to terms with the break-up of their 10-month relationship.
After Hitlist broke the news (?Ash and Abhishek?s romance? Believe it?, January 25), Dipannita confronted Abhishek and the duo parted ways on January 30.
While she?s yet to break her silence, Dipannita?s close friends in the modelling circuit say ?Abhishek hurt her feelings and put an end to the relationship in the most cowardly way.?

Says a close friend, ?Abhishek initially appeared to be the most genteel guy on earth, but turned out to be the opposite.
Before they broke up, Dipannita wanted to do something special for her beau?s birthday (February 5).
But Abhishek said that he was busy shooting around-the-clock, and had no intentions to celebrate because of his father?s recent illness. Later, he had a grand bash at his bungalow, with Ash as a special guest.
Dipannita wasn?t even invited; that shows his true character.?
Adds an actor who attended the bash, ?I even messaged Dipannita, and she said she wasn?t aware of the party.?

Sources say it was Bachchan Jr who had pursued Dipannita for more than two months before they started dating.
?It was Abhishek who used to make incessant calls to her and cajole her to meet him. He had attributed it to her simplicity, honesty and beauty.
From a well-known family of freedom fighters, in Assam, she wasn?t too keen on dating someone from the industry. Gradually, things worked out but Abhishek never had the guts to acknowledge the relationship.
He always advised her to keep a low profile and never declare their relationship when questioned by the media. I would say Abhishek fooled Dipannita. And today, his friends Sonali Bendre and Goldie Behl call Dipannita to ensure her well being. This is ridiculous.?

Says another source, ?After Abhishek started shooting for Umrao Jaan in Jaipur, he would keep telling Dipannita that hectic work and his mood swings were taking a toll on their relationship. And that was unfair on her.?
It is learnt that Bipasha Basu had cautioned Dipannita. Says the same source, ?Bipasha and Dipannita used to be roommates during their modelling days. Bipasha had told her about Abhishek?s growing fondness for Ash.?
Meanwhile, Dipannita has just returned after a short vacation to her hometown. Nursing a broken heart?
yes, Amitabh was already married when he had the affair and I guess he didn't want to leave his marriage for her. They did make a very good looking couple and their chemistry was apparent to everyone. Oh well.
I was watching the z cine awards last night, and guess who i saw..
it was none other than Rekha's LOVER..and they were sitting in the first row, and the cameras could not seem to get away from him or her..
dude looks weird..can't figure out whether its a feminine man or a masculine woman..but the 'lover' kept covering his/her face whenever the camera would move by his/her side..
very disturbing image...

amitabh and rekha had an infamous, notorious love affair in the early 80s... but, in the end, he didnt leave jaya for her.... trivia tidbit - the affair was at its height during the filming of 'silsila'... it was quite a scandal... legendary, in fact... hence, why they still pan to rekha whenever he is on stage.... but, i agree... its been over 30 years... give it up already

why is it that anytime Amitabh's name is mentioned, they show Rekha to see her reaction, and she always gets extremely happy and mistyeyed..hmm..kuch to hai!
i think she has her lover dress up as amitabh too..we might see farzana with a white goatee next time
in fact, aren't all men...
but yeah you get Star if you get directv..there's currently a huge posterboard when you enter the lincoln tunnel from the jersey side with Amitabh on it promoting Star and DirecTV...I see Amitabh's fricken face every morning goin to work...not that i mind or anything...
lol yeah I think Sofs got a point there...in regards to ash. hhahaha lets see how this whole thing turns out...
