Abhishek's future

I know this is Amitabh's village, but Abhishek IS related to him. Anyways, do you think that he will be a legendary actor like his father, or just be a very good one???

They remade DON - but it was starring Sharook Con - if Amishek had any skills, it would be his role - why did they pass on Amishek?

He will NEVER be as good as Amitabh! He does not have it in him...

Abhishek has finally come into his own!! Dhoom was the commercial launching pad that he really need. However, his best performance yet to date was definitely in Yuva. I beg to differ on this one, as I think he completely overshadowed Ajay Devgan and Vivek Oberoi (who still has to put in a better performance than Company). Abhishek in Sarkar even stole a scene from his dad when he was sitting on the bed talking to the family after a major incident. If he keeps up performances like in Yuva, Abhishek will definitely be legendary...the acting chops are in him!

He has talent, cant dance, doesnt have the same presence as his father, needs to improve his comedic performances. The guy in D is awesome, he may be a match. Manoj Bajpai will never be "hero" stuff because of his looks, but he is tops, very versatile; I cant think of anyone else who could have carried off that role in Kaun.

Abhishek needs to do more "angry young man" roles, it is in his blood. After that I predict he will marry a young starlet, cheat on her with a younger starlet, then be forgiven by his young starlet wife and to top it off, all three of them will make a movie about it called Silsila Part Deux...okay, move this topic to the "Living Off Daddy's Fame" village along with any journals regarding Emilio Estevez, Nancy Sinatra and all da biotches of Wilson Philips.

The face in the mirror
stares at me..
taunting, who are you?
what will you become?
chastened..I cringe & agree
But the, 'cuz I'm still young
I stick out my tongue..

BigB is a product of not one but many decades. He is an image that has been reiterated and ethced in our minds, however silently, but ever so permanently. He is a combination of quality craftsmanship, hardwork, charisma, luck and hype.

What Abhi needs to do is to continuosly break the barriers of franchise filmi roles. He needs to be a sensitive poet, an angry young man, a notorious criminal, a solemn police officer, a desparate lover and an estranged husband, consecutively without portraying any similarity of character in between any two roles. And eventually the genetic brilliance, that he has effortlessly inherited from his legendary parents, will start to shine limitlessly.

Abhishek needs to work on some decent scripts. Yeah, YUVA was a kick asc script. Totally wonderful! Despite Abhishek's cool role, he was I think overshadowed by the roles of Vivek Oberoi and of course Ajay Devgan's classic role as a leftist college rebel.

the thing with Abhishek as opposed to the other young actors is he has really good facial expressions when he acts.. he's not like a stone on screen...

Sarkar weas blazin'... I thought Dus was stupid... the movie was all over the place...

Abhishek is definitely the best YOUNG actor right now in Bollywood... he has a good screen presence, but he's not l;ike his father and I don't think he will be... AMitach was the man as soon as he came to the fil;m industry... Abhishek is progressing

I have been in India on business the last few weeks. I've been watching a few films while out here. Abishek is the truth right now. Hes coming in a lot of movies and is gaining popularity with the public daily.

Sarkar and Dus were damn good.

I dont think he will every be as good as Amitabh but for this generation, he'll be one of the best. People are getting a little tired of Shah Rukh and Salman Khan now.

I agree Sofs_808. But out of the new breed including Vivek Oberoi, Shahid Kapoor and Hrithik Roshan, Abhishek will shine!!

i think abhishek has full potential to be a successful actor but i wouldn't push it as far as being just like him. I mean he does carry the genes. I think the thing with Abhishek is if he has some strong scripts he would be amazing. He was amazing in Yuva and Bunty Aur Bubli and I can't wait to see him in "Sarkar".
