I was just wondering if you guys have noticed any of the ads that naseeb have in our journals. I was in a journal earlier and this one ad read : 'Former Muslim Speak Out- Man raised as muslim now sees Jesus in a different light'

I mean, really, this IS a muslim site. Does anyone else think this is offensive?

Muslima, I disagree somwhat. That would create too many problems. Who is to say what is appropriate and what is Islamic, etc... Some Muslims beleive that music is 7aram, so would any journal about music be deleted? you see where I am going with this?

ok now the ad i see says "Hijab Free shipping"

I didn't notice the ones you're referring to, but I noticed one that was offensive when you signed out...about some girl dancing in a silouhette type style. Also, many villages are unregulated and a lot of really horrible talk/discussions take place....and it is more shocking to see it coming from Muslims. I think that just like any internet forum, each naseeb village should have an administrator that would ensure that things are appropriate and within the Islamic framework...and have extra tools to edit/delete/etc.

thats intresting morsy, but I wonder who approves these ads? ya3ni i just thought that one was inappropriate. oh and it was a journal about lipstick? so i dont know how 'seeing jesus in a different light' is related?

ok, i had to go back and search for this post.. this whole ads thing is kinda freaky.. i think it searches the thread you're viewing for keywords and displays related ads. i was reading through the one about "health checks before marriage" and noticed an ad about a DNA test.

now the next ad is " How to Get A fast divorce"

the ad i see right now saying "muslim Singles"
