We many be many Qalandarlal, but they are very strong. Consider the domination of mass media, the global financial architechture and also the internet, the very medium that supports our exchange and communication today, to mention just three reasons why- why we the many cannot fight the few and WIN.

If you take this beyond words, the nthe question that your comments raise is how and whne - these are questions of tactics and strategy. The way ahead is not violent. The way ahead is calm, deliberate and strategic so I am not in support of revolution that spells violence but in favor of revolution of the mind and the soul - our spirit- that allows us to transcend the present constriction/limitation and move beyond to stand as equals in a world of equals.

Someone very wise said that slavery and enslavement was all in the head/brain of man - I think it was Martin Luther King. Problem is that is enslavement is ideological as colonization tends to be - ideological, political, economic and physical - it paralizes your brain and mind because it allows you only the prescribed ambit in which to manuver. Anything else is axis of evil stuff.

But the many will have to rise up through the mass of our thoughts and our creativity and ingenuity to establish ourselves as equals. In that sense - the quest for independance from colonization is still on I agree with you.

But the path is not through violence and ignorance - with violence we proved them right. Are they not incriminating themselves now by their violent actions? it is the same if we resort to that.

I believe the world must have a revolution at two levels in order to over throw this colonialism: Spiritually rise above petty and violent responses that feed into their agenda and creatively to intellectually rise above the present strangehold on intellectual and economic creativity and create for ourselves our world.

We are much more creative and successful if we act positively then if we act negatively and violently.

sounds frighteningly familiar --- like i say there is no such thing as post-colonial theory - it should be re-colonial - but even then that suggests there was some level of self determination & autonomy - and we know there wasnt any ..... so what to do?

first and foremost to challenge the falsehoods which provide legitimacy of the system and those who rule in our name

understand that the US in engaged in a war of conquest - Full Spectrum Domination ...

balance of power must be reconfigured...that is the invisible fist and the invisible hand...

build meaningful mass movements - the world social forum is one such ....

develop new paradigms of alternative forms of economic and social organizations as an alternative to global capitalism .... transform the structures of judiciary, ownership, dis-empower the banks, finance institutions, transnational corporations and the state apparatus .... stall the privatization of collective assets, infrastructure, public utilities, state institutions, the commons etc...

all this needs to be done in a global scale ....

its a massive undertaking - its daunting ... but we have come a long way consciousness is rising people are waking up ....
