AJAX in .NET

Anyone here started using AJAX (Asynchronous Javascript And XML) in ASP.NET yet? Its basically good ole remote scripting using the XmlHttpRequest object. I've played with it a bit and implemented it in a few of my projects and its a good way to prevent the constant postbacks for every little event on the page. I hear Microsoft has gobbled it up and is calling it Atlas or something. ASP.NET 2.0 will have limited Ajax functionality, but from what I've seen its minimal.

I've actually have done a lot of stuff in Ajax. There are some pretty cool features. The fact that you can pass back complicated objects, arrays, and arraylists really allow you to do some pretty cool things in javascript. Has anyone tried www.magicajax.net I found it really doesn't stack up.

Nah but I came across it briefly by accident though I didnt use it. lol

The server didnt have permissions (limited hosting) for webservices for a peice fo functionality so I ended up using good old ASP scripting :(.

Basically it was a desktop flash app making XML calls to my web app so the proper way woudl have been a web service instead it made calls to my asp scripts.
