Almost Transparent Blue

I just recieved an autographed copy of this book as a gift today. It was written by Murakami Ryu (Ryu Murakami to those not familiar with Japanese naming systems). I loved this book. However it is a morally reprehensible book and completely unredeeming in almost every way. I warn readers with sensitive sensibilities. Its only for people looking to shake themselves completely out of the box. Anyone else read this one?

Rozaiba, it isnt unique, but many westerners don't know about it. In Japan, we refer to a person last name first. The family name and honor is always held above the individual.

Can you let me in on the Japanese naming system? What is unique about it?

Its funny Harley, because I never liked Haruki Ryu, but ive found that the people who like Murakami dont like Haruki and vice versa. Strange innit?
