amoori, indeed. but dont forget that KHALED has been singing since 1985 and we all know that his voice is one hell of an audio wonder during concerts.

i advise all of u to experience khaled.

last summer in Cali, CARLOS SANTANA was Khaled's co-perfromer. Now, how amany arab performers can get santana to their concert

CHEB MAMI is also one hell of a performer. i saw him 3 times (indoors and outdoors) including a cocnert with STING.

and last but not least, dont forget the exquisite SOUAD MASSI--algerian singer who sings mainly in arabic, with some english. dubbed as a comination of RAI, TRACY CHAPMAN and SALSA ..

I agree with Ashraf on the part that Amr is the most consistant arabic pop singer in the last 20 years. BUT he still sucks in concerts.

Sorry to say this and please don't take it personal but Amr Diab is for kids and teenagers.

I'd drive for Fairooz, Majida, Marcel Khalifa and maybe Asalah.

amr is a damn good singer who's been producing great stuff for the past 20 yrs. but the concert didnt do him much justice.

nidalio, i didnt think the crowd was "ghetto central". the crowd was pretty diverse, from hijabis to girls in tight pants to guys in tight shirts and dudes in dishdash. most of all, people were generally well bhaved and having a good time. and it didnt at all feel like u were in a soccer game back home...if u knwo what i mean...

but i do agree that the 4cats who were such a joke. Their silliness should not have lasted more than 30 mins.

The best arabic performs I saw in concert wer Kathum and Majda el roomi.

I attended two of his concerts in Qatar, and I did not wanna rain on the parade earlier, but he sucks in concerts!!

why am I not shocked. Is it ever worth the money to watch these bozos perform? ....I say no way in hell.
