An email Carrie sends to Aidan (season4)
...So I did a freeze frame on a season 4 episode and saw this email that Carrie was sending to Aiden, at a phase where he had moved on after their little episode in Season 3, and she desparately wanted him back. Its interesting to note that the writers of Sex and the City have such fabulous detailed tidbids that are only shown on screen for a brief second.....
Another big problem-Im surrounded by memories of you, in my apartment, on the street, that little moroccon restaurant we ran into when it started pouring over us and you kissed me over the cous cous. (Rookie tactical mistake-not to have a memory-free environment. Why did we have to go to so many places?) Anyhow, Im not holding out hope that you're going to change your mind about us. You probably have a new girlfriend now, or several new girlfriends, and I missed my window, and I'll just have to live with that. I'm sure you feel like you can't trust me with your heart. But please know that I never meant to hurt you, and I would never do it again because I know (too little too late, or better late than never?) that what we had was real and rare and special and the way it felt to kiss you is the way I always feel
I hope you write me back, but if you don't I understand. Just know that I'm thinking about you, and miss you and I'm still sleeping on your shoulder when I close my eyes at night.

Its interesting how you have so easily placed a stereotype and garnished the reputation of men with YOUR 'unbiased' (sarcasm, if you are deep enough to look into it).. intellect.
This journal is 'indeed' about sapiness of letters written to women, and if you did your debates in high school then you would know discussions need to be grounded on claims and disputed on reason, and in this case the reason was travesty commited on the part of a 'women' over a guy. You are deflecting my comment by switching blames back on guys which is kind of pathetic as i can se e you did'nt have enought 'unbiased intellect' to actually challenge my comment on a more mature ground.
Sapiness of letters written to men - what is the reason for these letters? shouldnt that be included in the discussion. The context of debate is 'Sex and the City', shouldnt that context be used in the discussion?
Or should i just write 'oh, my.. carrie poor soul, awww.. sistah's i am one with you on this mighty opinion that males are the most lewd and cheating apes on the planet, and women are more often than not victimised by their evil ploys of using them for bodily pleasures.'
will that kind of 'unbiased intellect' increment this discussions blandness?
Unlike most people, iam not here to vent 'my' inner frustration over the opposite sex. I based my argument solely on the context 'sex and the city' and topic 'sappy letters'.

no one is discussing the merits of cheating or sleeping. sorry to inform you, but cheating on a wife/gf is and will always be filthy.
if you had more of an unbiased intellect you would see that this journal is about sapiness of letters written to men, we're not getting involved in details of the back story and discussion marital loyalty, something men generally tend to have more of a problem with. thanks.
thats the most hillarious thing i have ever heard... sleep behind someone's back and then write as oh so tear jerking, heart felt letter in hopes to fix it all. 'Vulnerable' my arse, how come its 'filthy' when men do it and when women sleep behind a guy - its termed as 'a stupid mistake', 'a blooper'. Wearing different color socks is a stupid mistake, forgetting to get your umbrella on a rainy day is a 'stupid mistake', Sleeping behind your boyfriend's back it malicious and deserves absolute abandonement. As for the mushy letters saying 'how much they meant to you' - well, when will the 'trash' option in mail come in handy..
The funny part is finding the drafts many moons later and knowing how you felt then verses how you feel now...it can be quite an eye opener as too just how far you have come.
