The artistic ambiance at Tao is great, giant Buddha, very loud but trendy music. Its better for after-work drinks (soft-drinks or whatever your poison) then food. Food is OK and the noise level really makes it hard to talk or enjoy the food. Also, gets loads of tourists.

havent been to tao...but i went to megu...i heard megu is better than tao...

Great atmosphere, awesome Budha. Good food, but not special. Nice place for an expense account dinner.

badmash I totally disagree
the food is Ok
nothing too special
spice market is not so great either
both are over hyped
both though have great atmosphere
it really depends on what you are looking for
Nobu as we all know is excellent
and any of the George restaurants are first rate

yo tao is good. I like the food there.
I think it's better than spice market!

its great!!!! was there 2 weeks ago, around the corner from where i work. Its a really nice place!!
