anyone here from BOMBAY (originally or now residing)?


if you have even travelled there, what parts have you been to? i am originaly from worli in south bombay near seaface.

I was born in Juhu, and moved to bandra when I was 1. I left india when I was 3.

dilli darbar? i used to eat at stomach II with my girlfriend. know where that is? it's a chinese restaurant with lots of mosquitoes for outside seating!

not originally from bombay but lived in lokhandwala (andheri) for a few... yeah ENERGEE is good.Sitafal icecream at naturals, strawberry cream at haji ali juice center, dubba gosht at dilli darbar etc etc .. so many things i can mention. the list is endless :O(

Lol.. i live in a city where the potable water will probably nt just get u sick but wil KILL U. Lekin kya karen..aadat ho gayee hai. :P Can digest even kankar patthar now :P Energee..dnt remember that !

i mean i would get sick if i drank water from the tap in bombay. my body is not used to it. all the time, i drank kinley bottled water. i couldn't touch milk products either

Oh dats in the summers ! Hygiene? Lol..c on buddy who cares abt that? Ganne ka Rasss..wid all that masala..n crushed ICE with a dash of lime and mint...divine !!

how about sugar cane juice? i couldn't drink it because of hygiene but i did buy it raw and chewed the juice out of it.

panipuri, bhel puri n not to forget the nariyal pani at juhu chaupati....
i also luv the pav bhaji...jus excellent :)

oh yes! how could i forget? heheh. i would eat bhel puri every night for 25 cents. they made me two big containers with wet chutney and some aloo. hehehe. those were DELICIOUS

Sigh ! Cant read wat Afreen is saying. Khair.. Sonu, Pani puri is not Mumbaiyya its Bhel Puri ok ! And Mumbaiyya food is yummy..the place..Johny Boy that I have mentioned serves some amazing Parsi Food. Hats off to the cab drivers in Mumbai..have met some real nice people in those yellow n black cars. Ohhh i forgotttttt..there is a place called Pizzeria at Churchgate..love the scene..love the Pizza :D

i actually don't go to many places in bombay, or any other place actually. all i do really when i get there (to bombay or any other tourist place) is talk to the cab drivers, the local chai sellers, and the people on the street. i like mingling with the common people. you can learn a lot, and i feel like i am home.

how about bombay food? PANI PURI anyone? ;)

Sigh !! Been ages since I saw Mumbai. Been allover. Was dating someone who lives at Bandra Reclaimation. Went to the Mount Mary Fair. Love Shanghai @ Churchgate, Satkar, Americas, the Khau Galis, Barah Haandi, Shalimar, Gulshan e Iraan even Johny Boyz. Love the locals and the buses alike. Ahhh..those were the dayz my friend and we had thought they wud never end.

I've been to bombay... had visited essel world, kandivali, borivali n andheri...
But that was sometime back in 1993 -:-
