I'm moving there early next month (March) and I'd like to know some people in the area..

Also recommendations for masjids, helal restaurants, etc..

Or heck, just general recommendations, good ethnic food, best pizza, etc..

Hi there..on Bustelton Ave which is not too far from Cottman there is Al-Amana store...not sure about the right address but it's right next to 7-11 there. The mosque on Germantown Ave i think is called Al-Aqsa mosque and they have an arabic grocery store right next to it.

Thanks, I'd appreciate it :) I need to start getting active in the community up here so I meet some people. I only have one Muslim friend in this area and one non-Muslim friend.. So I really need to expand my social circle as you can see, lol..

Thank you.. I would appreciate it. I'm living off of Cottman Avenue now in NE.. I don't even know there the masjid is or anywhere to buy helal or "ethnic" groceries.. (I have a craving for pastirma)
