Fadi good one but it's not true. I just liked him only recently after I saw an interview with him I liked how he talked about his modest upbringing, his strict father and how he came to the US with $100. I also liked what he said about being Arab and Muslim. Anyways we are only talking about Arab Americans but if you talk about Arab artists and poets in general my favorites are Mahmood Darweesh and Afaf Kanafani

Mustapha el-Aqad with all do respect, is a mediocre at best Movie director and producer. His best mainstream movie was horror B-movie. Caarabguy, don't get too emotional by giving the guy too much credit for his lousy poor directed work.

what about Mustapha el-Aqad? He is one of the best film directors and producers that Hollywood ever seen. Beside his work in Omar El-Mukhtar and Alresalah he directed and produced many successful movies like the Halloween series and many horror movies.

you are right amoori the irony is a person like Senator Kennedy is more pro Arabs he really is than many Arab Americans. He is married to a Lebanese American who identifies herself as Arab.

I looked at that link, and out of that whoollleee list of like 500 people I only knew 5 people. Salma Hayek, Shannon Elizabeth, Tony Shalhoub, Paula Abdul, and Ralph Nader. THAT'S IT. Haha. That's sad, but I bet everyone knows just as much as me.
