Ammoori afandi, you miss the point altogether. To me it has to be constructive to make sense, even as a comedy. That's why I asked if it did address real issues in the same respect. You can read my posting and comprehend it better before you get offensive blindly.

T3mah, thanks for explaining it better, I appreciate your understanding and I definitely would watch a show that shows a good message as an end result even by putting it in the context of a comedy.

I see your point Keeper and I agree that one should always seek to use their time in a good way. I highly recommend these comedians because they are able through comedy to serve as a mirror to our growing community here in America. I loved some of their jokes about their parents who migrated to the U.S. and how they worked so hard to secure a life in the "new world".

I highly recommend you watch Aron Kader's clips available on his website for a taste of the comedy out there! aronkader.com

May Allah bless our community and strengthen our unity!

There are other Journals that discuss the serious issues that u address, and the same people that posted here, posted there, so go review our opinion, and comment on it there. This Journal address a different subject, if ur not interested in it, then don't post here and save ur energy for SERIOUS issues.

Don't get me wrong...if the comedy is to ultimately show a constructive criticism of world issues and maybe send a message that we need help or it has the goal to get you thinking of what is wrong with us at the end of the day, then it may nto be so bad. But if it's just passive garbage like they would show normally on TV these days..with the exception that they're arabs doing it?...then I find it useless.

And about the comment that "life goes on"...well, maybe for some...if you feel so lucky that your life goes on right now, something can happen to you tomorrow and your life may NOT go on...then I'm wondering for those who spend their time on comedy shows with no point, what they;ll say to their God when he asks them one of the most important questions in your grave "what did you do with your time".

That's my two cents, take it whichever way you like. Once again, I'm not about nakad, but I'm about reality, which is mre than you can say for a lot of people who live a superficial world where they try to phase out all the bad things going on (maybe referred to by others as nakad).

nobody said dont laugh....everyone gets laughs and tries to enjoy life. It's just that much harder when you have consideration for everyone who is suffering and maybe not as lucky. If you guys want to call my consideration for those people nakad and think it's wrong, then suit yourselves.

There is always place for comedy! Comeon Keeper or do you want to sound like you need Comedy in the Muslim World movie to tell you how/what to laugh about.
At least these guys/girls are Arab like us.

You are so welcome Rabab! About Aron, well yeah I am taller than him, lol...but anyways, he is smart and I liked how his comedy makes you step outside the situation and think objectively with a smile... not intimidating at all.
