Arabenglish/Arabeezy/Arabish/3arabl ish

I love it when khaleeji Arabs talk English on that Dubai shopping festival, he asked one of the audience:

How do you does? Arabenglish for how are u?

to another he said:

What does meaning? Arabenglish for what does it mean?

another one he told'em:

Con-garr-lay-tion Arabenglish for congratulations:)

Do you have any Arabenglish terms to share with your fellow 3arabz?:)

i've heard lots of beoble say "bepsi" which just baffles me, because it's like...if you can pronounce the second 'p', why not the first one?

I ALWAYS mix English with Arabic words. My husband thinks it's hilarious and he thought people were crazy for doing that at first, but now he does it more than me. Our most common one is adding -ing to Arabic verbs and speaking the rest of the sentence in English. "I'm barak-ing for her for khalaf-ing a boy". hehe. I've heard it called Engabic before too.

I have a Kuwaiti friend who always asks me, "Why do they call me brozer at the masjid?"...lol We joke about it. And in my undergrad I studied Comparative Religions and did field research on Islam in America, I visited many masajid in Southern California. One small masjid in a predominantly Arab area posted a sign for Jum'a prayer, they didn't want anyone to park in the neighbor's parking lot. The sign read "No Barking in the Barking Lot." 3an jad!!! I still laugh when I remember this.
I love it when we American Muslims say things like, Hijabis, or "we sullied maghrib" or we are wuduing...lol Its cute mashallah.

Put out the light instead of turn off the light. Happy Birzday! And they bust out the song and everything! I tend to add -ing to all my Arabic verbs. I'm ijling (washing) the dishes...she's salying (praying)...Bad habit and it drives my family crazy!
