Are Japanese obsessed with school girls?


A lot of animations are about school girls dressed in their cute little school uniforms, but it could be because that is their target audience....or does it go further than that? Is there some kind of subliminal message and are older men watching these animations and getting off on it?

The world of anime is as vast as the world of western films. Just as you find kiddy films, rom-coms, arty stuff and even adult movies, so the same with anime. Just pick the genre you like and enjoy! I always get funny looks from people when I say I like anime.. I guess they are thinking there is only one type! *nudge nudge, wink wink*

Japanese females talk in a higher tone, except when they have been overseas. I think they emphasize 'kawaii'-ness/cuteness a lot in beauty.

the comics are worse, there are some really pornographic school girls in uniform graphic novels.

of course they are, the girls prance around in tiny skirts.

I'm sure its not just little girls watching these cartoons. whats that anime called A-ko kid or something like that? Its a little kid who is so cute and she wears a tiny weeny skirt and does huge leaps her skirt never flys up! isnt that strange?
