Are we demanding too much

I always wonder that are we demanding too much in a person of our dreams. We want that person to be successful, handsome, smart, and things goes on. And at times if there is a singe thing lacking in that person, we are eager to getrid of him/her.
So are we actually looking for Mr/Miss RIGHT or are we looking for Mr/Miss PERFECT?
what you guys think?

Prom I know all about it. I believe there is some truth to this theory and I'm a nice guy, thank you :) but I don't think this is why I'm single. Just like all middle eastern and Asian guys and Muslim guys for that matter my family and friends have long pressed very hard for me to find someone or else they will find me someone lol but the thing is my priorities were not aligned with the concept of being married in my early career years. You could argue with my approach to life but this is me.

wisala good question I honestly don't have a good answer. Well I guess maybe because finding the right one wasn't at the top of my priority list. I have been busy building a career in the high tech industry but now am ready to shift priorities :)

Hey Caar than you know what you must be the exception to the rule, and that has gotten me to wonder why in the hell a guy like you has been swept off his feet yet... care to elaborate?

Hey Wisala if I can have it all why not :) But I know I won't get everything I know no one human being is perfect. Things such as religion, purity, virginity and so on really depend on one's values as I may not look for someone who is religious but someone else will. I may or may not care about virginity but someone else will this is all about being careful not to judge people after all who am I to judge a gurl who is not virgin or religious or a gurl who is virgin and religious if I'm not. I don't believe in "double standards" what is OK for men is not OK for women and the opposite is not true?

Hey caar! And Arab guys don't want it all in one package?!!!! You want purity, virginity, innocence, intelligence, looks, values, religion, trust, loyalty, a girl who will cook and clean for you az all at the same time! You want her to love and be loved by your mommy and for every guy to envy you because she loves you! So don't sit there and tell me that we are being demanding! You Arab boyz wrote the book on it!

I don't think it is fair to generalize. Guys do think with their brains if they have their priorities set :). Same goes for gurls. You can't just blame guys for everything and as to the culture I agree it does put more blame on gurls but this is not the reason why many middle eastern gurls are still single. Arab gurls, and I say Arab only because I'm more familiar with the culture nothing else, are very demanding they want everything in one package. This is also a cultural thing.

the problem is not that we look for Mr./Miss perfect rather for Mr./ Miss RIGHT NOW. Many of things we look for in a person don't last they vanish with time things like physical appearance such as looks/beauty etc etc. We often talk about inside beauty, personality, chemistry, good values, integrity but ppl seem to make compromises on these essential qualities and stand firm on things which won't last. I understand there has to be some level of attraction but we shouldn't get stuck there and not look beyond.

Hey Shezadii thanks for the elaboration! And as for Promakhos inorder to place blame on someone they must be mature enough to understand and try to change! Guys in general don't really think with their brain, so how can you ever be at fault when it comes to the matters of the heart? The gurls are the ones to blame no matter what the situation! At least that is how it?s done in my culture, and that is why I and so many other smart, educated beautiful Middle Eastern women are still SINGLE!!! LOL
Blame you don't know the meaning of the word love!

i did not mean white girls when i said gori...sorry sould have elaborated myself...ok usually so far what i have noticed is that desi guys like desi girls who are fair skinned, they prefer fair color over wheatish or tan(esp in pakistan, things might be different in america if u say so, but i have not seen, the thought process of desi guys over here is no different then one in paksitan) , now i may be wrong this is just an observation....
And arent you guys are more concerned for pretty girls then you are for average looking girls,(if dont agree on color issue).
Ya sure guys are never at fault, they are not at fault when they ditch one girl after years of relationship, oh ya it was girls fault she was not compromising or she was not understanding enuf..correct.

guys prefer to be nice to beautiful gori girl then wheatish skin girls....whether u like it or not thats the truth.

What does this mean? please elaborate. :)
