Pstchic: I was a little while ago listening to the experience of the people who started Citizenship Foundation in Pakistan (the operate schools in very poor areas)...and the founder said exactly the same thing...that they used to complain and complain...but then they said enuff is enuff and took things in their own hands and started this project. Initially (10 yrs back) they started with 5 small schools..and Mashallah today they have 250...all with people's donations. I think we owe this to ourselves that we have to do something real..something which impacts more than ourselves or our immediate families!

I think we do have all the essential ingredients to lead our countries back home. We are educated, we have ideas that we learn every day by living in developed economies (we can tailor and implement those back home), we are used to living without corruption and we have the dollar power power. Our weakness is that we are used to luxury and good life, taking risks is not our strengths. Also, we have this attitude that people back home are nit wits and all the mess is created by them so we don't owe anything to our countries back home.
