Amina what program you are trying to open it with ? .. Usually if you have the pics open in MS Paint , you can do a File->Save As and then click the drop down menu to save the pic as .jpg ....Hope that helps ..

Hey superman....metal ! now that is a touch material to work with. I took a metal sculpting class some time back and burned holes in all my shirts from the welding. its amazing that you can work so well with it. this installation sounds mesmerizing...your details made an imprint in my mind...would love to see the final piece with the light inside and all. ..myself im desiging a building for a competition these days..i will put up the model once im done. take care

AA, if you want to convert from BMP to JPG, paintbrush will do the job, but there's a great program that I've been using since the mid 90's which will give you far greater flexibility. Its called LViewPro, and since its version 1D, it'll continue working unlike the newer ones..

Hey Umber.. good work here. I'm gr8 yaa. I've gotten really into sculpting metal, finally. Making two burn barrels for BurningMan, to sit in front of the WinkingLotus (.com) camp.. The first says "Rabbi Zidni Ilma" in Arabi, which will hauntingly glow with the fire inside showing through the carved words. This, incidentally, is the prayer of Solomon (AS), "Enlighten me, Lord". I wonder what kind of response they'll elicit. I'll have to put up pics and share the URL here..
