Ingenious, Wish I'd thought of that when I was an undergrad with an intense physical attraction for someone. Of course like all forms of temporary marriage (whether sanctioned by Suni or Shia) its all about sexually exploiting women under a religious guise. Should be outlawed.

Well there is the practice among some Sunnis called misyar which is very much like mutah - it is the doing of a permanent marriage but within intent from the outset to divorce after a short period of time.... Do a Google on misyar and it will come up for you insha'allah.
