JP: I don't agree that it's a slam dunk that your vibe over the phone and pics will be correct. Body language, mannerisms, seeing someone in 3-D vs. 2-D pics can be very, very different. I have experienced it.

Desi...the hard part is trying to extract yourself from the relationship at that point. I had that problem after going to another state to meet the girl i really enjoyed having phone conversations with. We finally met and...silence...I was stuck for 3 days trying to flip that switch. I couldn't wait to jet.

ofcourse its possible and also the reverse is possible too. Sometimes you talk on the phone with someone and feel a strong attraction/connection but the moment you see them in person, its all turned off .. like electricity gets turned off by just click of a switch.
