I'm ignant. What genre would 'Boys Don't Cry' be considered. Also how about 'Head on the Door'? Cheers

I hear you Coffeefire... i think a lot of people only get to hear the pop/punk cure songs... the real cure is very dark and depressing... kinda liek turkish coffee bitter and sweet.

Hey I just listened 2 "Just like heaven" Its a pretty sublime track. lol, da mascara story is hilarious. I heared a some of da group members left and new ones joined. I guess Robert Smith is da real "Cure" for da band which made it successful.

Sheena The Cure has two very distinct types of music... 1. The post punk type and 2. the dark, depressed... sorta gothic but NOT like Manson type. The hardcore Cure fans relate to Robert Smith (the Cure front man) as the depressed musician who made them buy more mascara during the 80s and the 90s than any other band :).

Asim2k, dl The Get Up Kids cover of "Close To Me." If you're into indie rock, it's a cute pop-punk version. It's pretty decent, you might love it as much!

Man, I gotta listen 2 other Cure songs. I heared they are similar 2 New Order. The only one I know of is "Friday I'm in Love". I'm gonna check them out on yahoo launch music.

oh it's not a remix of the original song... i just included the original version of "all cats are grey" on a "various artists" downtempo compilation cd, with tracks by other artists that usually aren't lumped in the same category, e.g. dido, fluke, norah jones, panjabi mc, etc.
