Ayatosatan Sistani on belly dancers
For those of you who don't know what SNO is, it means Shia night out. This past summer a sister posted a video in the shia village of an SNO in cali. It was complete with near naked belly dancers among other haraam things. Below is a fatwa of Sistani in regards to whether SNO's are halaal or haraam. Sistani agrees they are halaal and can take place in a haraam environment provided the Shias themselves don't partake in haraam. I say the next SNO should be in a strip bar!

It is not haram to gather to meet other people or know each other as long as such gatherings does not involve harams and be within the Islamic rules and regulations.
