One of my absolute favorites of Iqbal is his book bang-e-dira. But the best part about the book are his famous poems Shikwa (comlaint) and Jawab-e-Shikwa (Answer to complaint). You can easily find the entire poems at the following links with the appropriate english translation

My favorite part from the Shikwa is as follows (especially the last two verses). Just a tribute to the great thinker of the east.



Chaak isi bulbul-e-tanha ki nawa say dil hoon
Jaganay waalay isi bang-e-dira say dil hoon
Yaani phir zinda naye ahd-e-wafa say dil hoon
Phir isi bada-e-dayreena kay payasay dil hoon

Ajmi kham haay to kya, meh to hijazi haay meri
Naghma hindi hay to kya, leh to hijazi hay meri
