Salamz!

Many of you have written me expressing that you are at a very basic and beginner level in this wonderful language. I suggest that you use this journal to post anything in English that you want translated and I am sure another member will translate it for you sooner than you think! :)

Come on, don't be shy....type anything you want to say to your parents, family or friends. We are all here to learn and help each other!

Sam77, I think you can request translation wherever a poem is posted....I am sure the member will be more than happy to explain. In fact its probably easier for the member obliging to see where exactly the question is coming from if it is asked in the same JE where the poem is posted.

I started this JE for any other questions (like the one I had below) that people may have....

khnaja, I"m a non-paying member as well but by adding more and more people to your circle of friends you'lll be connected to more individuals and read more comments. I used to have the same problem but now, almost 90 percent of the time I can read the comments that are posted. Maybe you can add people to your circle who are in this village....

btw....I want to apologize for requesting translations in other Village entries. I just came across the VE so I'll request translation only here from now on :)

Hey I didn't know that some of you cannot read others comments...thats weird...

Well i can't read Ghazal's comments, maybe she already told u. But Baad e Saba means "Morning breeze" .. its actually a farsi word.

Well... In my humble opinion baad-e-saba means the fresh morning air baad = air/hawa, and saba =subah/morning ..

Ok I need a word translated.....lately I have been listening a lot to Ali Azmat's latest album Social Circus....its simply awesome! If you guys haven't heard it I would highly recommend it.

Khair...us main aik gaanay hai "Main" and he uses a word "baadaysaba?" I think.....

What does that mean....anyone knows? Song goes as follows:

Main....main hon aasman ka baadal
Tu....hai
Main....hon samandaron ka pani
Tu.....jalta sehra....
