theres this one desi cookbook thats really good. Its called spicy touch (in fact, thinking it was another type of book i fell upon it by mistake..lol jk) anyhow its actually made for people who aren't indian and are just trying it out, so its really dumbed down and good for people like me. The only problem however is that for some recipes we gotta add a bit more masala. im actually not sure where we got it from but the author is noorbanu nimji. check it out.

they are awesome arent they?? i have about 8... which ones do you have?? my favorite ones are the Chicken one, Indian, Best Curries... i have the mexican, chocolate, rice, tomato, veggie, and sauces one... but i havent used them yet :-P
