best digital camera to buy
does anyone have any suggestions in the $400 range?
only thing it has to be small in size - not all bulky and stuff.
I'm still flirting with the Sony DSC P200 and the Casio Exilim Z750. Anyone have either of these? I'm a sucker for packing on more controls into a wee little space....so words of advise would be great. mmm.
I have had the sd300 for 10 months now and simply love it. Larger screen than most, compact and ofcourse takes great pics and v. good short videos. Definitely worth it.
I've heard that casio also makes good cameras and I have seen a couple... and man are they small!! you might want to check those out.
If nothing else you definitely can't go wrong with canon.
yeah I've been having the same problem. been searching and searching for months for the perfect subcompact. if you want a point and shoot with limited manual controls then the canon sd 300, 400, 500, 450, 550 line is phatty.
the sony p150 and 200 are small but with a little bit more control
the casio exilim Z750 is phatty too.
the canon sd30 is oooh lala but all automatic.
if you don't mind a little bigger with a lot of manual thingamabobs canon a610 or 620
now if only I could make a decision.

there's digital camera resource page...google it to find the website and steve's digicams also (google again)
After doing much research I picked up the cannon sd400 5.0 MP camera. Go with a Cannon, they're sleek, easy functionality, and a good flash. It'll be in your price range.
