Best facials
Anybody have any idea on what facials to go for. I want to start going regularly now but not sure which one is the best one etc..there are so many to choose from? Usually I go for Hydrodermie..need something for a radiant complexion..

I think monthly facials are wonderful. It's a great way to pamper yourself. The best thing to do is talk to the aesthetician prior to your facial and discuss that state of your skin and what you want to accomplish. The aesthetician will evaluate your skin and do each facial according to your needs on that particular visit. From my experience, I like to go to the same person on a regular basis because that person gets to know your skin. Aestheticians are not physicians, and will not perform wonders. They can however, help you with minor problems and really relax you.
As for those microdermabrasion home kits, I tried the Estee Lauder stuff earlier this year and found no improvement. Perhaps those are bogus products or there are other brands out there that are better. I mentioned it to my dermatologist and he shrugged it off as incomparable to seeing a professional.
Lvely - Apparantly beauticians recommend you start having facials at like 25 or something cos your skin starts to mature around then.oops I have left it a bit late..but better late than never I guess..

The outbreak of spots after a facial are not a result of a reaction..they just come out because your skin draws out the impurities!..its all good..better out than in I guess..in the long run..definitley not for Eid!..
anyway, i used to have facials when i was in desh cos they are so cheap there! they said my skin was in a state! i just enjoyed being pampered... but skin did feel good afterwards and no zit breakout too

i have that SAME issue. and that's why i find facials counter-productive. i think id still like to try one someday - it's just there's always some sort of occassion where i cant take that risk of battling zits.

Thats what I've heard which is the precise reason Ive never had one! I am blessed with clear skin so if i ever see a pimple I have to keep messing with it and it turns into a blemish.
But from what Ive heard thats what happens but its because all the impurities are brought to the surface so its a good thing.
