As Musafeer rightly put it...depends what you are comfortable with. Lolz...for that matter I have even read here on Naseeb saying that music is also haraam?

Clubbing still seems to be a taboo subject amongst some people, all your doing is going to have a good time..is that haram?

If your heart tells you to do something,go for it.If not, dont bother. My best friends resepct me even if they are Americans. They know I dont drink, so they dont offer me even if I'm with them in parties or in Blues clubs or Bars.So if you dont feel comfortable, don't do it.Your friends will understand.

ALl my best friends are non-muslims and they totally respect the fact that I choose not to go to a club. They always invite me out of respect, but then will always add that the day they see me actually show up will be the day pigs fly....they know I won't come, and why I won't, but they don't take it wrongly. I remember before our graduation we all went to a friends place for a garden party before hand. They all wanted to get pictures taken with glasses of wine in our hands. My friends mom wasn't aware of the fact that I don't drink so she poured me a glass and was giving it to me. My friend noticed and quicly took it from her mom and told her that I don't dring drink. Her mom suggested that I at least hold on to it at for getting pictures taken. My friend asked me would I want to hold a glass with apple juice in it. I said no because the idea of it is still not something that I'm comfortable with. My friend didn't question me for even a second. She instead placed me in the middle without any glass, everyone else around me, for the pics.

I would have to agree with Begsy on that one. I personally think it ok to go to a club. You dont have to drink if you dont want to, but its ok to go clubbing..nothing wrong with that.

If she's your best friend, she'll understand your predicament..
