Best movies of 2005 - Midyear Checkpoint


We're almost at the midpoint of year 2005. I just want to get people's opinions on two things:

1. Your favorite movie (despite its flaws)-Mine was Waqt

2. The best movie of the year (in terms of its artistic achievement) - I think the best movie released this year was Page 3

Orsang8, I don't know much about this forum, but I still think that it's a good profile add-on to have a journal about Shahrukh if you want lots of women flocking to your profile. Ha, ha!

I'd hate to take credit when not deserved. The only reason I started that journal was to avoid having this one become another SRK-rave session. But, it seems like people are tired of talking (or maybe hearing) about SRK.

thre are like atleast 5 other journals dedicated to srk...but i agree orsang, hulchul was a let down especially after hera pheri!

Hulchul was one of the most obnoxious movies of the year. There were some entertaining moments involving Paresh Rawal, however they weren't remotely enough to propel the movie to the top of 2005 charts.
No offense intended to the fans of the film.

Mahvish, i am looking forward to that movie coming out...only because...well, (sheepishly grinning) I really adore Shahrukh Khan. Not because he's an especially great actor necessarily, but...he's got some sort of a vulnerable yet cocky charisma that just sucks you in.

I think Paheli has the type of songs which you have to hear a few times or see the movie in order to like them. Let's see when the film comes out, cast is good :)
