Best way to unite the ummah
Assalamoalikum dear brothers and sisters,
I am very happy to be part of this village and even happier to see that many muslims share my ideas of being one ummah irrespective of our firqah or country. Nationalism is a sin because for us (muslims) whole world is our nation and all muslims are our brothers and sisters. We are not sunni nor are we shia, we are muslims and alhumdolillah i can prove this under the light of hadeeth.
Well over the years we have always focused on problems but let us become like our ancestors and think of solution instead of winging about the problems. The solution i think is simple. We need the perfect system and that is system of khilafah. And all our us need to do something for this, as educated muslims we have responsibility of ummah and we have to stand for the cause of unity.
I try my best to talk to muslims who call themselves sunni or shia or salafi or what not. I believe in three things which makes me a muslim. Number 1 is Tohid (Allah is one and has no partners), Risala (Prophet Mohammad (SAW) is last messenger) and Qayamat (Judgement Day). Unfortunately there are few muslims who do not believe in Prophet Mohammad (SAW) being the last messenger and i do not consider them muslims. To avoid any confusion i will name these people and they are kadiyanis. Let us pray for them that ALLAH guides them to the right path ameen.
However, all the major sects within Islam do have faith in the three things mentioned above and if they do not then they are ofcourse out of Islam. Lastly, as far as culture is concerned, even though we have different food but culturally muslims are more similar than any other religious group in the world. We greet in same way, we all eat halal alhumdolillah, we dress modestly (except some so called "progressive muslims" mostly muslims living in western societies).
We are one ummah and we are muslims thats the bottom line and all of us need to do something to spread our ideas in a peacefull way till we can. If any brother or sister wants to discuss the matter further please feel free to contact me. Its very unfortunate their our enemies are united despite of their cultural, religious, national differences but we despite being one ummah are divided bitterly. May ALLAH grant us with Unity and solidarity ameen.
