I feel that life is full of experiences which define who we are and shape our lives. That is the meaning of the quote to me. If i never knew what it was like to drink Pepsi, I would never know what I was missing out on. But after trying pepsi, I have the experience to say if I really like it, loath it, miss it, crave it, or whatever...
Love is too overated!! Especially with society's influences!!
As far as I'm concerned Love Allah (SWT), the Prophet (PBUH), Your Family and Yourself!!
Plus the say "You dont feel human till your heart has been broken " .Just learn from your mistakes. Its not such a big issue .
So stop being bitter and go with the flow .Life is too short .Enjoy it while it lasts.
Remember..love is chemically no different than consuming large amounts of chocolate :)
From the aspect oflove yes! Ignorance is bliss, just had an experience that taught me that "when someone dont know (what happened and U R feeling SHAME)" then they (ur partner) "love u", once they know 'they just become hesitate to love u !" .. .It then become the battle in between the "Priority or Options"

well ive known a few marriages where the entire relationship is like a bad first date that keeps repeating itself over and over and over again like groundhog day.

Why can't I find a guy? I've been hurt in the past and well I want to be with someone who gets me, understands who I am and what I stand for, and is willing to support me like a best friend. Middle Eastern guys want to control their other half. They want her to be at their beck and call, and I refuse to have that sort of relationship. However, I can't find myself ending up with anyone from a different culture or religion as I, so from all the guys that I know, I guess you can say that I am a living and breathing catch 22.

i know you say in your profile you want it all, and you should get it all, but those guys are outhere..i know them and ive seen them.
those are demographics..thats actually not too hard to find....now the hard part.
funny, not stuck up...smart...self assured not needing constant reassurance that i care about her....able to make fun of herself....understands when i wanna do my own thing...has parents that arent psycho.....born and raised in the US yet retain a some cultural background to her origins (i dont really care about the specific culture as long as she is muslim)
and lastly..she has to like me too...ok....im gonna be single forever....thanks W you helped me realize im hopeless :*

HAVE TO FIND ONE PERSON.... i do believe there is someone out there for us. but its not ONE person. there are hundreds of people out there that would be right for you and you could make a life with. based on reading your messages though, i suspect you have recently been through a bad situation ..dont let that taint your perspective.
