Salaam Rayflexx!
Thanks for the info! Personally, I am a BIG fan of Bill Phillips! One of JE's is even dedicated to him! Haha! I bought a copy of "Body-for-Life" for my parents and my siblings too! Lol! "Body for life" is one of my all time favorite books! It really is an awesome book for beginners, which I consider myself to be, and I really learned the proper way to lift and eat. When I first read it, it motivated me so much so, that I went to the gym every single day over the summer and saw tremendous results! It also made me fall in love with fitness. I love it's "lifestyle" approach to fitness...not just...get buff then quit, like some other programs seem to lend themselves to.

I seriously recommend this book to everyone who is a beginner or who wants some solid information and advice on how to lose weight/get cut and maintain a healthy lifestyle. I can't say enough good things about it. It intuitively makes sense from a medical standpoint too! I especially recommend it for all the aspiring health-professional out there. If you're going to try to make people healthier...you gotta do what you preach first, right? This book is the perfect place to start in my opinion.

Some may call it a marketing ploy for myoplex and EAS, but the thing is that you can buy cheaper supplements that'll do the trick (if you don't care about quality/reputation) and plus, the tips and information in it shouldn't be discounted just because Phillips recommends a certain brand of supplements...but that's just my personal opinion.

As for EAS, I have found, from all my research and personal experiences, that it is one of the most reputable supplement companies out there that, and when they were under Phillips, they had a really solid track record. That's why I only buy EAS supplements. Abbott Laboratories is a really reliable company too...since they make pharmaceuticals, but I hope they stay committed to the science of the products instead of the marketing. But I heard that Phillips didn't allow ephedra-based products at EAS, but that as soon as he left, the new management put out a fat-burner (maybe it was thermodynamix?) with ephedra in it (before it was banned by the FDA). This leads me to question the new management. I don't know...Rayflexx, how do you think Abbott will maintain EAS? Do you think they will maintain it's quality and reputation? Or do you think that they will be more concerned about profits? I'd really be interested in hearing your opinion. Jazakallah-Khairun for your comments! It's really awesome that you actually worked with Phillips and helped develop these products!! Mashallah!! Keep up the amazing work! I haven't actually seen "Body-of-work" but I definitely will go check that out, as well as your new book!!
Wasalaam!

I worked with Bill Phillips/EAS for over two years and developed products for him and helped him with writing and many other projects, etc..I was actually a judge for the first two BFL contests he did--even made a cameo in the movie "Body Of Work"..

I know the ins and outs of EAS so my opinion is probably biased. My opinion in a nutshell--Body for life is a decent program for a begginner looking to get healthier and lose some weight. It is not for someone fairly advanced. It is very general and generic info but good for someone just starting out. The quality of EAS products is solid and they do a lot of research on them. They are now owned by a drug company (abbott labs) so we'll see what happens...Some of their products are outdated while others are definitely worth taking..They are a little pricey as well as compared to some others on the market...What I like about EAS is that they also provide information and programs--not just pills and powders.
