the appearance of this video the day before TB is supposed to make a speech smacks of smart PR and the appropriation of murder by even bigger murderers. did you hear the guy say: "i'm a soldier"- he sounded so sane that he must be truly insane. i mean how can anyone think this is right?!!!

plus the video has been apparently v heavily edited and the lip sync etc is not quite right. who knows what happened?

NOW, A REPORT BY THE CHATHAM HOUSE ORGANISATION, A "THINK-TANK" DEEP WITHIN THE BRITISH ESTABLISHMENT, MAY WELL BECKON BLAIR'S COUP DE GRACE. PUBLISHED ON 18 JULY, IT SAYS THERE IS "NO DOUBT" THE INVASION OF IRAQ HAS "GIVEN A BOOST TO THE AL-QAEDA NETWORK" in "propaganda, recruitment and fundraising" while providing an ideal targeting and training area for terrorists. "Riding pillion with a powerful ally" has cost Iraqi, American and British lives. The right-wing academic Paul Wilkinson, a voice of western power, was the principal author. Read between the lines, and it says the Prime Minister is now a serious liability. Those who run this country know he has committed a great crime; the "link" has been made.

I gotta get meself a bullet-proof vest before commuting from now on. Anyone know of any arm-surplus stores in East London. Apart from the one opposite QM college, cos the local facists/neo-Nazis frequent that particular store :S

another attempted bombing today, man in stockwell shot down. London Muslim Centre cordoned off for fear of extremist attacks, esp as the masjid has been very vocal in condeming the bombings.

It's not a major incident on the level of 7/7. The bangs were from the detonators, and luckily they weren't attached to any real explosives.

Well there must be a hell of a lot of numbskulls bc the rise of the charge to ?8 makes the mayor another ?270,000 a day.

He continued: "Under foreign occupation and denied the right to vote, denied the right to run your own affairs, often denied the right to work for three generations, I suspect that if it had happened here in England, we would have produced a lot of suicide bombers ourselves." :( :(

GREAT STUFF news.bbc.co.uk

The London mayor told BBC News he had no sympathy with the bombers and he opposed all violence.

But he argued that the attacks would not have happened had Western powers left Arab nations free to decide their own affairs after World War I.

"In a further embarrassment, the assessment also clearly states that the Iraq war had made Britain more vulnerable to terrorists - something the Government angrily denies."

LEAKED SECURITY SERVICES MEMO SAID BRITAIN WAS SAFE

Britain's security status was downgraded less than a month before the London bombings because the security services were confident that there was no-one in Britain capable of carrying out a terror attack, it emerged today.
